Leopard Shopping

It's Wednesday, which I don't like because tomorrow is Thursday ... I hate Thursday with a passion because of dumb ol bowing. However, this Wednesday I'm actually in great mood. Why? Because I've been approved to have own a Leopard Gecko! Finally Bix won't be reptile-less no more. If you saw my last blog post, you can see just how much I love cold blooded creatures . . . there cute, cuddly, and act like me ha!

I have my tank already bought, cleaned and is in the process of being decorated. I have to get some hides, bowls, reptile heat pad and couple other things. I want to be totally prepared my gecko to get here. I guess your habit has be set up for 2 weeks before you can even put one in there or so I've been told . . .

Anyways, The hard part about getting a leopard gecko is the actual shopping for one. There are about 125 different morphs of them and just about all of them are incredibly awesome. You have Blizzards, Carrot Tails, Red Stripes, Hypos, and a whole bunch more. I'm of course leaning towards a Carrot Tail because it will match the whole rabbit theme I've got going.

It's pretty self-explanatory of why they are called carrot tails but just in cased your missing it : A Carrot Tail Leopard Gecko has bright orange markings on their tail or have a full orange colored tail.


If it does so happen that I get a carrot tail I shall name it bugs, after bugs bunny. I think that name is appropriate but, if it's a girl I shall call her snooki . . . because of the orange color hehe
